Florence M. Johnson is Principal Attorney with Johnson & Johnson, PLLC. Her current practice consists of 50% percent federal court litigation, with extensive class action litigation experience and 50% percent practice before state bodies. Currently, she has conducted more than 50 jury trials in state and federal courts and resolved more than 100 mattes through alternative dispute resolution (ADR) for private individuals and corporate entities.
She has litigated under the FLSA, FMLA; WARN Act, ERISA, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, RLA, LMRA, NLRA, and Medicare False Claims Act. She also advises a number of private businesses on employee relations, routinely conduct training on employee issues and handle EEOC complaints. Other organizations that she has represented are the UAW, Teamsters and represented the interest of the International Longshoremen’s Union in negotiation with management in contract bargaining. Currently, in addition to work in the firm, she represents the interest of the City of Memphis in litigation and arbitration matters.
